Clayworks
Clayworks Studio/Gallery has been practicing the art and craft of architectural ceramics since 1978. We specialize in decorative tile, house numbers and address plaques along with coordinating handmade sconces. Our gallery (open Mon.Sat.) is filled with southwestern, traditional and craftsman style sconces and number tiles. We also stock our own line of Critter Tiles, Story Tiles and other decorative tiles and pottery. Everything is handmade and fired on the premises. |

Clayworks is also known for custom architectural work, including largescale seals and signage. Our tiles and custom architectural detailing can be seen in the Texas State Capitol, The Driskill Hotel and the University of Texas among other Austin landmarks. Our pavers, calligraphically inscribed with the names of donors, have helped to raise millions of dollars for fundraising projects across Texas and the nation. In addition we produce the handmade fish, frog and salamander tiles warning "No Dumping" for the City of Austin's stormwater drain marking program.
