Omikoshi: a complete line of modular stackable fine furniture 18-3/8" x 50-7/8" x (height varies)A bank of six drawers, a sliding door unit, open shelves, and two different base models assembled in any quantity or combination create a custom and upgradable heirloom. If your needs change, you can rearrange, add a unit, or buy another base and split the units up. Units can stack forwards and backwards for use as a room divider, allowing interaction from both sides. Currently offered in walnut, cherry, or fir, with custom material options also available. |

Michael Yates Design
Michael Yates is a designer, woodworker, and engineer who designs and builds custom furniture, cabinetry, and architecture. While living in Kyoto, Michael was inspired by the serene aesthetic and unparalleled standards of craftsmanship inherent in Japanese homes and temples. Now he combines these ideals with his own design sensibilities and engineering experience to create projects ranging in scale from boxes to buildings. |

He continues a tireless study of his craft and has lectured for the Japanese American Society on the topics of Japanese joinery, architecture, and design and woodworking history. He lives in Austin, Texas, where he was born. |
